Fragrant Tea Olive Tree

Fragrant Tea Olive Treebute Fragrant, evergreen, and grown in their honor. The Fragrant Tea Olive is a small broadleaf evergreen tree that is remarkable for its pervasive fragrance. Small clusters of creamy white to soft orange blooms appear in fall and often again in spring, releasing a sweet apricot-and-jasmine scent. With glossy, deep green foliage that holds year-round and a naturally upright, dense form, this shrubby tree brings consistent structure and seasonal beauty to the landscape. In Chinese and East Asian tradition, the Osmanthus has long been associated with nobility, loyalty, and the enduring bonds between people. Each Treebute is a complete memorial tree kit designed to be planted at home. The act of planting gives your hands something purposeful to do and creates meaning. Many people find that tending to something living, especially a tree whose fragrance returns every season, helps foster a lasting sense of connection to someone they love. Why You'll Love Your Tea Olive Tree Year-Round Beauty: Between blooms, the Fragrant Tea Olive holds a dense canopy of glossy, deep green leaves that bring structure and year-round color to the landscape. It does not go dormant, does not drop its foliage, and does not disappear into the background. It is a consistent, visible presence through every season. Low Maintenance and Forgiving: Once established, the Fragrant Tea Olive is drought-tolerant, disease-resistant, and largely pest-free. It grows in a range of soil types as long as drainage is adequate and does not require heavy feeding or frequent pruning. This is a tree for someone who wants to nurture something without feeling overwhelmed by it. Flexible Placement, Including Containers: Planted in-ground, the Fragrant Tea Olive works as a garden specimen, privacy screen, or entryway anchor. Grown in a large container, it thrives on a covered patio or porch, or can be moved indoors in cooler zones during winter. This flexibility means the tree can go where you need it most. Soft, Comforting Fragrance: Tiny white blossoms release a gentle, sweet scent that many people find calming, especially in quiet outdoor spaces Perfect Size: Whether you have a cozy patio or a sprawling lawn, the Tea Olive Tree fits right in, growing to a manageable size.
