Fractured Earth

This dynamic abstract work on canvas explores the tension between organic texture and rigid geometry. Executed in acrylic paint, the composition features a vibrant, mottled ground of earthy browns, rusts, and golden ochres, reminiscent of weathered minerals or geological strata. This textured field is strikingly interrupted by a bold, angular network of intersecting lines. Prominent black bands slice across the canvas, asserting a powerful presence, while thinner white lines weave through, creating a complex, multifaceted lattice. The interplay of raw, textured surfaces and sharp, defined lines generates a compelling sense of fractured space and intricate depth.
