Fox Trinket Plate - Small Ceramic Dish - Handmade Forest Animal Pottery

A childhood of folk music (and opera, and Beatles) has given me the forever background music of “the fox went out on a very dark night.” It helped me empathize with both predator and prey. Let’s hear it for the old grey goose that fed a whole litter of hungry foxes. And here’s a sweet plate for trinkets or a snack. Make with white stoneware and trimmed transfers. A childhood of folk music (and opera, and Beatles) has given me the forever background music of ‘the fox went out on a very dark night.’ It helped me empathize with both predator and prey. Let’s hear it for the old grey goose that fed a whole litter of hungry foxes. Now this fox waits quietly in your home - ready to hold your midnight snack when you’re prowling the kitchen, or your jewelry when you’re getting ready to venture out for nighttime adventures. Some plates just hold food. This one holds stories. Made with white stoneware and trimmed transfers. Each fox placement is slightly different - yours will be the only one exactly like this. $30 (these sell for $45-50 in galleries)
