Fox Bacchus Repose

Fox Bacchus ReposeA red fox reclines like a Roman god, wrapped in cream robes with grape leaves crowning its rust and amber fur. One glass of deep red wine tips toward you, slow and a little smug. Dark grapes, pomegranate, and stone fruit wait on the table. The black background pulls every warm tone forward. The oil work borrows from the old masters, then bends it into something stranger. It reads as classical still life and animal portrait at the same time, with enough dry humor to hold a bar wall, a lounge, or a dark academia study where the books already lean theatrical. Pairs well with Animal Artwork, Man Cave Art and Fox Art. --- The fox doesn't ask for the throneIt pours the wine and waits. Old-master oils, an animal portrait with real presence, warm enough to anchor a bar, a lounge, or a man cave.
