Upon welcoming, Ipe timber possesses a rich, chocolate brown color that can easily be preserved, yet allowing the wood to age on its own reveals its silvery patina that brings out its timeless sophistication.   Features:   Side table frame is responsibly crafted from FSC®-certified, solid Ipe timber sustainably sourced from dry, tropical forests in the heart of Bolivia. Ipe timber offers exceptional durability, strength, and resistance to weather, moisture, sun, and wind. An exclusive fine-grain sanding technique creates a glass-smooth finish on the surface of Ipe timber. The rich, chocolate brown color of Ipe timber upon arrival can be easily preserved over time, yet may also be allowed to develop a luminous silver patina. Mortise and tenon joinery creates a smooth, refined appearance. Designed with the placement of individual slats of Ipe timber forming the geometric details of the tabletop, round tabletop frame, and tapered shape of the legs.
