Foundational 5

At DrJockers.com we love empowering people to reach their full God-given health potential. We have found that regular lab testing can be a helpful tool for an individual to discover and address underlying factors that are impacting their health and performance. The Foundational Five are five of the most highly esteemed tests that provide an incredible amount to assess your health needs. These labs help you get to the root cause of your health challenges and provide a wide array of physiological biomarkers to help you understand the health needs of your body. 1) Comprehensive Blood Analysis $412 This test includes a complete blood count (CBC) to analyze for liver, kidney, lipid and blood cell abnormalities. It also looks at vitamin D3 levels, which are one of the most common deficiencies that are affecting the average individual’s health. This test analyzes for markers of chronic inflammation in hs-CRP and Homocysteine. It also tests all the parameters of the thyroid to look for autoimmune activity and any breakdown in the Hypothalmalamic – Pituitary – Thyroid – Cellular Axis. Our Comprehensive Blood Analysis (CBA) is very extensive and covers all the advanced markers needed to truly understand what is happening on a systems level in the body.   Specimen Type: Blood & Urine – Will require a blood draw at a local lab All laboratory needs are pre-paid upon ordering from DrJockers.com 2) The Dutch Complete Hormone Panel: $350 As a clinician, I see so many patients that are struggling with adrenal fatigue. They have low energy and have trouble getting out of bed, they are often tired in the mid-afternoon and then are wired at night when they are supposed to be sleeping. Going along with the adrenal fatigue, I see many issues with sex hormone imbalances. This issue leads to major problems with menstruation, pre and post menopausal symptoms. They are also major risk factors for breast, uterine and ovarian cancer in women and prostate and colon cancer in men. For women, we look in detail at the various forms of estrogen and the estrogen:progesterone ratios as well as the cortisol:DHEA ratios. With men, we look at estrogen:testosterone ratios and cortisol:DHEA ratios so we can most effectively improve their hormones and energy levels. Specimen Type: Saliva Sample 3) GI MAP ANALYSIS: $459 The Comprehensive Stool Analysis detects the presence of pathogenic microorganisms such as yeast, parasites and bacteria that contribute to chronic illness and neurological dysfunction. I have found that the GI MAP test is the most thorough stool test that gives actionable biomarkers. There are so many unique stool tests on the market that give interesting information, but it really isn’t clinically relevant at this time due to the research we currently have. In addition, I have found that many stool tests have false negatives where they aren’t showing what is really inside the body. For many of these tests, you have to get all of these additional add-ons to get everything tested and it can be confusing and much more expensive. This test has everything a natural health doctor really needs to see to make good clinical decisions on your gut health and treatment protocols pertaining to your microbiome. You can see a few of the things that are analyzed in this here and be sure to look at the entire sample copy so you know what the test looks like.   Specimen Type: Stool Test – Done at home Advanced Food and Chemical Sensitivity Test: $599 As a clinician, I find that unknown leaky gut syndrome and food and chemical sensitivities are at the root of many major health conditions. Most people will go through their entire life destroying their body by eating things that cause an inflammatory process throughout their body. Food allergies and food sensitivities (or food intolerances) are two types of food sensitivities that can be very destructive to the body. Food allergies are a very severe immune reaction to a particular food that causes immediate reactions such as swelling, rash, itchiness and sometimes a life-threatening anaphylactic shock. Food intolerances cause more subtle health challenges that make someone feel uncomfortable without outward immune reactions. Food intolerances can often lead to elevated levels of whole body inflammation that can cause fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, digestive disturbances, headaches and other unwanted symptoms. Many people go through their lives without ever understanding how food intolerances can lead to these health challenges. They never suspect that the food they are eating every day is silently killing them and their doctors never advise them to look at how they are responding to their diet. *After much research, I have found that this immune sensitivity test is the most reliable and trustworthy that I have found. I certainly value the results on other sensitivity testing, but I consider this the Gold Standard in food and chemical sensitivities*   Specimen Type: Blood Test – Will require a blood draw at a local lab that will cost an additional $20-$40. 4) Comprehensive Organic Acid Test: $335 The Comprehensive organic acids test is my personal favorite test as it gives a plethora of information on what is going on in the body and is non-invasive on the individual. This is a simple urine test that looks at complex biomarkers from various metabolic pathways. These biomarkers give an overview of several major systems in the body and an analysis of nutritional deficiencies in the body. Many functional medicine practitioners believe the organic acids test to provide the most useful data for dollar spent of any metabolic test. The organic acid biomarkers are metabolic intermediates that are produced in pathways of central energy production, neurotransmitter breakdown, detoxification and intestinal microbial activity. When specific organic acids are found accumulating they often signal a metabolic insufficiency. These insufficiencies could be related to toxicity, a nutritional deficiency or an inherited enzyme deficit. Specimen Type: At Home Urine Test Foundational 5 Testing Package: Normal Pricing: $2155 Your Discounted Group Price: $2,000 Fortunately, because of the many thousands of newsletter readers and social media followers, my team has been able to network with a great lab distributor and get the best possible pricing for everyone. The retail value (using market value and insurance based rates) is highly inflated and driving up the cost of health care. This is the old, archaic method that many people are still using and paying way more for insurance and co-pays than they really should be. Many intelligent people are saving insurance premium dollars and turning to pay by order labs such as DirectLabs and others. These skip the middle man (doctors’ visits) and cut down costs for the patient. If the test requires blood work you can take your kit to any local lab and have the trained professional take your blood and fill out the kit and send it in the mail. Urine and blood prick tests can all be done in the comfort of your home and sent into the lab with the mailing slip in your kit. All instructions will be sent to you with the kit. It is a very simple process that most anyone can figure out. The lab also has a customer service phone # if any help is needed: 847-222-9546
