Fossil Shell Natural Agate Wire Wrapped Stone Pendant

I wrapped a natural polished turritella agate stone with silver and copper wire. This comes with a 24 inch silver filled chain. These are fossilized shells in agate. This stone is from Wyoming. Turritella is a type of snail whose name is derived from the Latin word turritus, which means towered. The shells of the snail are tightly coiled, and the fossil remains have been discovered in agate deposits. There are often minerals such as quartz, chalcedony, and pyrite that were formed along with the fossilized remains of snails and other sea creatures. The agate is usually dark brown or black and has the spiral patterns typical of the snail shells. Turritella agate is a stone of connection to ancestry and the past. It can enhance spiritual ties with earth and home, and it offers great protection and strength. It has similar properties to record keeper crystals and is said to be used to gain access to past lives and ancient knowledge. Agates have been discovered in archaeological digs along with other artifacts from our Neolithic ancestors. They have been used as ornaments and amulets, as well as ritual use, for thousands of years. Agates can aid in the development of stability and balance. They help promote self-assurance and a calm, centered state of mind. Agates are often associated with family and loved ones. They can assist in forming a solid foundation for lasting personal relationships. Stones listed as natural, raw, or rough may have some imperfections and inclusions.
