Fortis Ballistic Helmet

Step into the future of head protection with the Fortis Ballistic Helmet. This high-cut helmet is a testament to advanced protective technology, maintaining a light weight of just 2.8 lbs. Constructed from advanced ballistic fibers, it offers solid protection, achieving backface deformation results that outperform the vast majority of commercially available ballistic helmets (read more about backface deformation). The design not only optimizes the helmet's capacity for energy dispersion but also keeps it considerably lighter, reducing wearer fatigue and enhancing mobility when compared to standard Advanced Combat Helmets (ACH). The Fortis Ballistic Helmet is not just about protection; it is also designed for functionality, featuring a 7075 aviation-grade aluminum NVG mount and glass-reinforced polycarbonate ARC rails. Available in sizes S/M & L/XL, it serves a broad user base, ensuring an optimal fit with its sophisticated padding and adjustment system. Its level IIIA rating offers a level of protection that is competitive with helmets three times its cost!  This value reflects the helmet's innovative approach, employing modern engineering and materials to provide essential protection, comfort, and utility without the premium cost. Use the sizing guide and information below to find the size that will fit you best.  How to pick your helmet size: Use a flexible tape measure to measure around your head. Place it over your eyebrows and ears, and see where it meets. Don’t have measuring tape? Use a string or a shoelace instead, then measure it with a ruler. Picked the wrong size? No worries! We make it easy to swap it. Easy Tips for a Perfect Fit: Measure your head later in the day. Heads can be slightly bigger then. Think about how you'll be wearing the helmet. Will your hair make a difference, or will you wear something under the helmet? This might mean you need a bigger size. Measure your head three times to be really sure of your size. Use the average of those three as your real measurement.  Shipping Quick fulfillment!
