Format4 | tempora F600 60.06L Edgebander

Efficient Edgebanding for Superior Productivity Processing edges needs to be as quick, easy, and efficient as possible. For this purpose, the Format4 tempora models combine the core competencies of speed, productivity, flexibility and ease of operation in a convincing overall package. The final finishing results when processing both coiled and strip material convince with incredibly high standards. Modern and optimized edge processing aggregates and a flexible machine body guarantees absolute stability and reliability even at the highest of processing speeds. The user friendly control options, „x-motion plus“ and „m-motion“ ensure absolute repeatability and individual configurable operating programs enable quick manual change of the aggregates as well as control via the smartouch control panel. Premilling unit with separately controlled diamond milling cutters for chip free glue joints Premium class operating comfort with the e-motion package and motor controlled units Complete stability even at maximum processing speeds due to the solid machine chassis Key Features Highlights 10.4" or 15" Smartouch Control: Intuitive interface with tiltable touchscreen, offering unlimited storage for user-defined programs, maintenance assistant, and remote telesupport readiness. The x-motion plus option upgrades to a 15" monitor with network connectivity for enhanced control. Premilling Unit: Standard with two 1.1 kW motors (12,000 rpm) and diamond cutters, manually adjustable from 0–2 mm depth, ensuring chip-free glue joints for laminated materials. Optional upgrades include 64 mm height cutters with 1.5 kW motors or replaceable knives. Teflon-Coated Gluepot: 1.5 kg capacity with a 10-minute warm-up time, applying approximately 375 meters of edge material on a 19 mm panel, with an optional easy-clean unit for adhesive changes. Details Edge Feed System: Supports coiled material (0.4–3.0 mm) and strip material (up to 6 mm) for workpieces up to 60 mm thick, with a 750 mm coiled material support plate and guillotine cutters for pre-cutting thick PVC/ABS. Pressure Bar: Manually adjustable with two staggered roller tracks, accommodating workpiece heights from 8–60 mm, monitored by a stop light system for clearance. Chain Feed: Standard 10 m/min with rubber-covered pads for optimal grip, upgradeable to 10 & 18 m/min with automatic lubrication, ensuring smooth workpiece movement without tilting. End Trimming Unit: Two independent 0.35 kW motors (12,000 rpm), manually tiltable from 0°–10°, providing precise cuts with linear guides for low maintenance. Multi-Functional Trimming Unit: m-motion configuration with two 0.55 kW motors (12,000 rpm) for radius, flush, and bevel trimming, featuring structural optimization for quick edge thickness and profile adjustments. Corner Rounding Unit: Single motor unit for post and soft-form profiles up to 60 mm, with an optional dual-motor version for enhanced productivity, controlled via the touchscreen. Finishing Aggregates: Standard buffing unit with two motors, optional glue scraping (pneumatically controlled), radius scraper (pneumatic disengage), and spraying units for release agents, antistatic, lubricants, and cleaning agents. Optional Enhancements: Infrared heating lamp for cold workpieces, puReady nitrogen box for PUR adhesive flexibility, silicone gluepot insert for reduced cleaning, and x-motion PLUS package with motorized adjustments for trimming and scraping units. Air Cushion Table: Optional 1050 x 400 mm surface (expandable to 2000 x 400 mm) with a 0.75 kW blower motor for gentle handling of large, surface-sensitive workpieces.
