Format4 | creator 950 CNC Machine Center

Efficient CNC Precision in a Compact Space The creator 950 in a variety of equipment options – your CNC machine for individual requirements and challenges. Efficient CNC processing at a fair price, this is the goal of the creator machine series. All models are equipped with the most modern CNC technology and can be adapted to specific needs with individual equipment. The creator is not only a simple and safe entry into the CNC world but can also act as an additional machine to relieve the workload on your other CNC machining centres. Your advantages at a glance: Compact CNC technology with a space requirement of 53 sqft All inclusive: 4 sided formatting as standard Get started straight away: maximum productivity without set-up times No vacuum pods and console positioning Deployment range from interior design to room doors Traditional processing from above – simple loading Intuitive control via control panel Easily understandable software Best extraction result High-end quality at the best price in any configuration Compact CNC technology with a space requirement of 53 sqft All inclusive: 4 sided formatting as standard Get started straight away: maximum productivity without set-up times No vacuum pods and console positioning Deployment range from interior design to room doors Traditional processing from above – simple loading Intuitive control via control panel Easily understandable software Best extraction result High-end quality at the profit price in any configuration Key Features Highlights Compact and Efficient Design: Occupies just 53 square feet (approximately 4.9 m²), making it an ideal space-saving solution for small workshops. This compact footprint delivers maximum productivity without setup times, catering to a range of applications from interior design to room doors. 4-Sided Formatting Capability: Features a router unit that enables 4-sided formatting and cutouts in panels, provided the workpiece maintains a right-angled outer edge. This all-inclusive feature enhances versatility for comprehensive machining tasks. Powerful 12 kW Main Spindle: Offers high performance for processing various materials, paired with a standard DH17 drilling head (optionally upgradable to DH25) for comprehensive workpiece processing, ensuring robust and precise results. Details Intuitive Woodflash Programming: Utilizes fast and intuitively controllable programming technology, allowing cost-effective use from lot size 1. The graphical user interface provides a 3D representation of each input, offering visual feedback for quick and accurate CNC machining program creation. 4-Position Linear Tool Changer: Ensures rapid tool and aggregate changes, enhancing workflow efficiency. This system supports the flexible use of units, allowing adaptation to specific project needs without downtime. Horizontal Processing Concept: Employs a horizontal workpiece transport system that facilitates single-person operation, even with heavy workpieces. Common transport supports like the height-adjustable Felder FAT 300/300 S/500 S tables ease material handling on both sides. Phenol Resin and Air Cushion Table Options: Comes standard with a phenol resin table for durable support, with an optional air cushion table that ensures damage-free movement of sensitive surfaces, enhancing material care during processing. Rear Unloading and Roller-Table Extension: Allows workpieces to be unloaded at the rear for seamless integration into production flows. The optional roller-table extension, equippable with an air cushion, improves handling of workpieces over 1400 mm in length. Dual Grip Movement System: Operates along the X-axis with individually driven grips guided by a cambered toothed rack. The "Varius Drive" enables dynamic clamping of longer workpieces, speeding up processing times. Switchable Vertical Pressure Rollers: Guarantee precise drilling and milling in component thickness, ensuring accuracy across various materials with a variably regulated feed speed for optimal quality. Automatic Tool Length Measuring System: Determines tool length with an accuracy of one-hundredth of a millimeter directly within the machine, eliminating operator measuring errors and enhancing precision. Dowel Insertion Unit: Automatically and precisely inserts dowels into the workpiece in both directions of the x-axis, with a fast setup time via a mobile dowel station, improving jointing efficiency. Enhanced Extraction and Sealing Options: Features an automatic control system for the extraction connection, shifting full capacity between the drilling head and main spindle. Optional seals for guides protect against abrasive materials, extending component life. Specialized Attachments: Supports the special Clamex-P milling tool for detachable connection fittings (e.g., furniture, shelves, kitchen construction), expanding jointing options. Web context suggests compatibility with additional aggregates or tool changers, reflecting Format4’s modular design, though not detailed here. Durability and Precision: Built with solid design and premium Austrian components, the creator 950 ensures uncompromised productivity, supported by a perfect service package, automation solutions, and networked workshop capabilities.
