Forestay T/eye

A forestay T/eye (or T-bar eye) is a specialized marine hardware terminal used on sailboat rigs. It features a T-shaped anchor on one end that slips securely into a mast or deck backing plate slot, and an eye on the other end to attach the forestay wire, toggle, or synthetic rigging line.  Key Features Design: Combines a T-terminal bar with a solid eye fitting. Function: Locks securely into mast spars or special backing plates to handle high-load tension. Application: Common on one-design class sailboats (such as the J/70 or VX One) and used when transitioning between wire and high-modulus fibre rigging.
