Formulated without ammonia or peroxide Ready to use, no mixing required FAQs Who is it best for? Henna Blossoms works best on those with color treated hair, especially anyone looking to upkeep their salon colored fantasy hair. How it works? The Henna Blossoms collection is made up of 17 colors, ranging from natural looking shades to fun, bold colors. This non-penetrating dye deposits color pigments that coats the outer hair shaft without damaging the inner hair cuticle. With the added benefits of Moroccan Argan Oil and Indian Henna Extract, using Henna Blossoms Color Treatment over time can strengthen hair, patch-up opened hair cuticles and repair split ends to give you healthier looking hair. How long does it last? Henna Blossoms Color Treatment is a semi-permanent coloring cream that usually stays vibrant for about four to six shampoos. To keep color longer, use gentle shampoos designed for colored hair, such as Henna Blossoms Color Recharging Shampoo. If you start with a deeper shade, such as Henna Blossoms Ruby, it will take longer for that color to wash out with shampoo compared to a pastel shade such as Henna Blossoms Pink. All Henna Blossoms color is made to fade gradually over time with each wash. Can I be creative and mix colors? Yes! Absolutely! Just to give you an idea to start experimenting on mixing colors- If you want to create a variety of shades, a touch of Henna Blossoms Black will darken any color you have chosen to use! Do I need to bleach my hair? For best results, it is recommended to start with medium to light blonde hair. All pastel shades require light to pale blonde hair to achieve the right color. The darker your hair, the less the color for the hair treatment will show. If you start with a more yellowish base, the end results might show up more yellow than hair swatch shown online. Can I use Henna Blossoms if I have another color in my hair? Yes, but it may change the end results. Henna Blossoms does not contain any bleaching agents, so it will not lift color out of your hair. It will only cover over the color you have prior to using the hair treatment. It is recommended to first do a strand test to see what colors will show up. HOW TO USE Can be applied to dry or wet hair. For best results, wash hair with Henna Blossoms Icy Mint Detox Shampoo and towel dry hair. Divide hair into four sections, using large clips to hold each sections apart. Wear disposable gloves and use an old towel, as this color treatment will stain. Apply the color cream to your hair in sections to ensure even distribution. Starting at the back crown area, make ¼”-½” partings and apply from roots to ends. To ensure all hair is completely saturated, massage color cream into hair strands using finger tips. Repeat this technique to apply the remaining product to the rest of your hair. Leave on for 25 to 30 minutes, recommended to check on color every 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water. Blow dry and style hair as desired.
