Forest Adze Hoe

Designed for heavy trenching, grubbing, and root cutting, the Warwood Forest Adze Hoe is a preferred tool of elite wildland firefighters throughout the country to cut firelines in forest, chaparral, and prairie. REPLACEMENT SLIP-ON HICKORY HANDLES The Forest Adze Hoe, also known in some circles as a grubbing hoe or hazel hoe, is designed to excel in the most challenging environments. Whether you're clearing brush, digging roots, or shaping trails, this tool is engineered to deliver unmatched performance.   Slightly lighter in weight than our Carpenter Adze, with a thinner, flatter bit and a straight 6-¼” blade, the Forest Adze Hoe also has innumerable uses for homeowners, landscapers, and outdoorsmen.   Combining the straight cutting edge of a garden hoe with the heft and power of a pick, the Forest Adze Hoe is ideal for home gardening, land clearing, trail building and maintenance, and more, making short work of hard soils, tough roots, and thick sod.   The Forest Adze Hoe is made the same way it always has been — one at a time, by American workers, from American steel, on the shore of the Ohio River in Wheeling, WV.
