FAQ Q: What is an “innie sleeper” or “pocket sleeper” for a Transit van? A: An innie sleeper (or pocket sleeper) is an internal capsule that extends the van’s interior width, allowing for a sideways (east-west) sleeping arrangement—up to 77"—without the need for exterior flares or capsules. Q: Will this fit my Transit van? A: Yes, it’s designed for Ford Transit 148, Extended WB, Mid Roof, and High Roof models. Always check your van’s specific measurements before ordering. Q: Can I install windows in these capsules? A: Yes! The innie sleeper pair can be customized with windows and paired with 10x33 trim rings for a professional finish. Q: How much time does this save in a van build? A: Integrating these capsules and trim rings can save over 50 hours of labor compared to fabricating your own solution. Q: Do I need to paint or upholster them? A: You can order them RAW or pre-painted (SEM Ultra Black), or upholster them on your own to match your van’s interior. Q: What are the main benefits over exterior flares? A: No need to cut into your van’s exterior, easier installation, and a cleaner, factory-style look. Ready to streamline your Transit van build?
