This sensor can be cut to any length you like.  For information on how to use FSR sensors see our DIY & Repair Guide Connector options Female tin contacts with two-pin housing Solder tabs Dimensions Length: 200mm (can be cut to any length) Active area width: 10.2mm Nominal thickness: 0.41mm Switch travel: 0.15mm Sensing Range 0.2N (0.64 Ounce) to 20N (4.5 Pounds.) What is Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR)? FSR is a special type of sensor which exhibits a decrease in resistance with an increase in the force applied to the active sensing surface. The force sensing resistor is a polymer sheet, with both electrically conducting and non-conducting particles present on this sensing film. If force is applied to a surface of the sensing film, the particles touch the conducting electrodes and causes the resistance of the film to change. This change in resistance can be measured, and used to sense a step on a dance pad.  The FSR 408 is a single-zone Force Sensing Resistor® optimized to use human touch to control devices for use in automotive electronics, medical systems, and industrial and robotics applications, among many others. FSRs are two-wire, robust polymer thick film (PTF) sensors that exhibit a decrease in resistance with increase in force applied to the surface of the sensor.  The FSR Sensor is a mod and it will take some time to install and set up with your pad. This is not a "plug and play" sensor.  For information on how to use FSR sensors see our DIY & Repair Guide   ~If for any reason you are not happy with the part you can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase~
