Forage Radish Food Plot Seed

Forage radishes are an excellent choice for attracting deer to your food plots with their lush, nutritious forage while also enhancing soil health. In optimal conditions, the taproot of forage radishes can reach down as far as 30 inches, bringing essential nutrients up to the soil surface. These radishes are well-suited as a cool-season attractant but can be planted in both spring and fall. For fall seedings, plant 4-6 weeks before the expected frost date. As temperatures drop, the starches in the radishes convert to sugars, making them even more attractive to deer, who will hammer the radishes late into the hunting season.
