Footprints (Female) II

In life's most challenging moments, faith reminds us we are never truly alone. The "Footprints (Female)" art print by Lester Kern captures this profound spiritual truth in a deeply moving visual testimony. This 12x36 inch masterpiece brings to life the beloved Christian parable that has provided solace and strength to countless souls during their darkest hours. With divine artistry, Kern portrays Jesus carrying an African American woman along a beach bathed in heavenly purples and golds, illustrating the most powerful moment of the poem—when only one set of footprints remains because the Lord is carrying His child through life's most difficult trials. The complete "Footprints" poem featured in the artwork reads: One night a woman had a dream. She dreamed she was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from her life. For each scene she noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to her, and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of her life flashed before her, she looked back at the footprints in the sand. She noticed that many times along the path of her life there was only one set of footprints. She also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in her life. This really bothered her and she questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me." The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child. I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." This open edition print serves as both a stunning decorative element and a daily reminder of faith, perseverance, and divine support through life's struggles. The elongated panoramic format makes it perfect for narrow wall spaces, hallways, or as a focal point above furniture.
