Sizes: 11cm- High-performance riders, prone surf, advanced downwind, and riders seeking maximum responsiveness and minimal drag. 17cm- Confidence-inspiring for a wide range of riders. Perfect for everyday use, broader weight ranges, and those wanting maximum ease of use with a balanced, powerful assist feel. Easier option for upwind riding Built using Ultra High Modulus carbon and an all-new layup, the mast delivers a noticeably sharper, more direct ride feel with increased efficiency and power transfer. Every element has been engineered to meet the demands of riders pushing performance in Foil Drive across surf, downwind, flat water, and assisted riding. Designed in collaboration with Foil Drive, this mast integrates cleanly and precisely, eliminating flex and unwanted movement while maintaining optimal hydrodynamic efficiency. Two purpose-built pod height options are available, allowing riders to fine-tune their setup based on rider weight, riding style, and performance goals. Both masts are 78cm in height, measured from the top of the base plate to the bottom of the Tuttle connection. This height has been extensively tested with ambassadors Josh Ku and James Casey to ensure optimal performance across a wide range of conditions. Pod Height And Mast Length The Code x Foil Drive Integrated Mast is available in two pod height options, each designed to optimise performance for different riders, conditions, and use cases. While both options share the same mast height and construction, pod placement has a meaningful impact on ride feel, efficiency, and control. The 11cm pod height is designed for riders prioritising performance and responsiveness. By positioning the pod higher on the mast, drag is reduced and has a closer feel to traditional foiling. This option is best suited to lighter riders, advanced foilers, and surf-focused use, where tight turns, fast response, and a direct connection to the foil are the priority. The 17cm pod height is designed for stability, efficiency, and broader rider compatibility. This pod position provides a more forgiving ride feel, particularly during powered riding and motoring upwind. This option is ideal for everyday riders, heavier riders, and those using Foil Drive across a wider range of conditions including flat water, downwind, and longer assisted sessions. Both pod heights and the specific 78cm mast length have been extensively tested by Code Foils ambassadors across all foiling disciplines. Proven that these are the optimal pod heights and mast lengths for ultimate performances. Integrated Mast Features  Ultra High Modulus Construction A completely new UHM layup delivers maximum stiffness and instant energy transfer, giving riders more power, more responsiveness, and a dramatically sharper ride feel. Optimised Pod Placement The Foil Drive pod sits further forwards giving a smoother ride when motoring and offers less swing weight from the motor when turning. Two Performance POD Heights 11cm: Higher-performance, lighter riders and surf-focused riders. 17cm: Everyday riders and broader weight ranges and people needing to motor further. New Base Plate Interface The redesigned base plate perfectly matches the Foil Drive unit’s width for cleaner water flow and improved hydrodynamics, with integrated plastic isolators to prevent electrolysis. Integrated Bolt System Includes the new Integrated Mast Bolts for direct mast-to-unit connection, making set-up and transport seamless.
