Focusrite Scarlett 16i16 4G (4th Generation) 16-in, 16-out USB Audio Interface

Featuring converters taken directly from Focusrite’s broadcast-ready RedNet range, Scarlett 16i16 is the industry-leading USB audio interface for project studios. It features 16 inputs and 16 outputs — including two mic preamps, Hi-Z instrument and line inputs, ADAT, SPDIF, and MIDI. Capture Every Detail The 4th Generation preamps offer an impressive 69dB of headroom, so you can capture the most dynamic performances. With a total of six analogue inputs, you have ample connectivity for outboard gear. Powerful outputs ensure clean, ultra-low distortion playback; plus, two brand new custom-designed headphone amps which can drive high-impedance headphones. Class-Leading Audio Quality The Scarlett 16i16 incorporates completely revamped audio circuitry, equipped with the same professional-grade 24-bit, 192kHz converters found in Focusrite’s RedNet range, used in top recording studios and broadcast facilities worldwide. Experience unparalleled clarity with 120dB of dynamic range to capture everything from a whisper to a jet engine. Enhance Your Sound with Air Mode Re-engineered Air mode takes your sound’s unique character and brings it to the front of the mix, adding musical presence or rich harmonic drive to vocals and acoustic instruments; replicating the sound of driving a classic studio console. Auto Gain: Work faster Designed to assist engineers of all levels, Auto Gain sets the optimal recording levels for any inputs in just a few seconds, getting you ready to record in moments. For more complex setups, multi-channel Auto Gain adjusts levels for multiple microphones, either directly on the interface or through the Focusrite Control 2 mobile and desktop applications.  With Clip Safe Never Lose a Take With Clip Safe actively monitoring levels up to 96,000 times per second, Scarlett 16i16 automatically adjusts gain to prevent clipping so you avoid introducing any unwanted artefacts from hard limiting. Never miss a crucial take, especially in high-pressure recording environments such as live shows and location recordings.
