Focal EC 165 KE K2 Series 6.5" Coaxial Speakers

Focal EC 165 KE 6.5" Coaxial Speakers The EC 165 KE audio kit delivers robust performance in a compact design. Featuring two 6.5” (16.5 cm) woofers with coaxial tweeters, this system is built for clarity and power. At its core is Focal’s iconic aramid fiber membrane, an innovation that balances lightness, rigidity, and damping—key characteristics for achieving outstanding sound quality. The result? A dynamic, faithful, and perfectly defined audio experience. Smooth, Accurate Highs Equipped with TKME coaxial tweeters, the EC 165 KE delivers smooth, precise treble. The inverted domes with K2 diaphragms and "M" profile design optimize high-frequency dispersion, ensuring every detail of your music is crystal clear. Designed for Convenience and Style Beyond performance, the EC 165 KE features a sleek, rugged design, adding character and style to your car’s audio setup. Its compact form factor allows for effortless integration without compromising power or quality. Cutting-Edge Focal Technology From the K2 membrane to TMD® suspension, a progressive profile spider, an aluminum frame, and an advanced coil ventilation system, the EC 165 KE embodies Focal’s expertise in high-power handling and precision sound reproduction. K2 Sandwich Membrane: The Heart of Exceptional Sound The diaphragm plays a crucial role in speaker performance. Since 1986, Focal has perfected its aramid fiber sandwich membrane, instantly recognizable by its distinctive yellow color. Today’s design features: Ultra-light foam core for responsiveness Aramid fiber layer for strength Glass fiber layer for durability This combination ensures rigidity, lightness, and damping, resulting in precise, dynamic, and uncolored sound reproduction. TKME Tweeter: Smooth and Extended High Frequencies Mounted on a highly resistant aluminum base, the TKME "M" profile tweeter extends frequencies up to 22 kHz, reducing distortion and enhancing clarity. With IAL2 technology, its push-pull motor achieves incredibly low resonance frequencies, ensuring perfect harmonic balance for an immersive listening experience. Progressive Spider: Enhanced Stability and Dynamics The spider supports the lower part of the cone, ensuring stability and precision. By developing a progressive profile spider, Focal engineers have achieved superior damping and cone control, enhancing linearity, accuracy, and dynamic sound performance. Experience Unmatched Audio with the EC 165 KE Bringing together Focal’s acoustic innovations and cutting-edge materials, the EC 165 KE delivers high-fidelity sound with precision, depth, and power—perfect for audiophiles seeking an unparalleled in-car audio experience.
