Focal Diva Alta Utopia

DIVA ALTA UTOPIA Diva Alta Utopia 4-WAY ACTIVE WIRELESS LOUDSPEAKER The Diva Alta Utopia is the most advanced wireless, active and connected hi-fi speaker ever designed by Focal & Naim. A true all-in-one audio system, it offers spectacular sound reproduction, combining power, precision and emotion. It integrates the very latest audio innovations with cutting-edge wireless technologies for unparalleled freedom and ease of use. Designed for rooms of up to 120 m², the Diva Alta Utopia transforms any space into an immersive listening environment, with no installation constraints, revealing music and cinema with unrivalled intensity. THE ULTIMATE SOUND EXPERIENCE The Diva Alta Utopia delivers an exceptionally wide soundstage that is precise, natural and enveloping. Thanks to its 4-way architecture and seven loudspeakers, it reproduces every musical detail with precision, bringing out the full richness of the recording. From deep bass to ultra-fine treble, the registers blend harmoniously to deliver immersive, vibrant and deeply emotional listening. Inspired by the Grande Utopia Inheriting all of Focal's expertise, the Diva Alta Utopia is based on an acoustic architecture inspired by the iconic Grande Utopia speaker. Each loudspeaker is optimised for its register to ensure perfect sound consistency. With Focus Time Management, they are aligned so that sounds reach the listener at the same time. This perfect synchronisation creates a sound image of remarkable precision. The soundscape gains in stability, depth and realism. Focal innovation The PRISM tweeter, introduced for the first time, enhances high frequencies, bringing smoothness, extension and definition to the entire sound spectrum. The woofers in push-push configuration deliver powerful, perfectly controlled bass, while the W midrange with its M profile stands out for its remarkable transparency and precision. Diva Alta Utopia delivers high-fidelity sound in a wireless setup thanks to Ultra Wideband technology. It is compatible with numerous streaming services and wireless protocols, and features various inputs for easy access to music and video use. 600 WATTS OF NAIM POWER Each speaker incorporates 600 watts of amplification developed by Naim, ensuring perfect control of all registers. This architecture, combined with a high-resolution DAC and advanced DSP, enables every musical nuance to be reproduced with extreme precision. The dynamic range is impressive, signal control is total, and reproduction retains its richness, even at high volumes. Customised acoustic calibration Thanks to integrated technologies and the Focal & Naim app, the Diva Alta Utopia adapts perfectly to its listening environment. Settings allow you to adjust sound reproduction according to the acoustics of the room and the user's preferences. This personalisation guarantees a tailor-made experience, where every detail is optimised to deliver total immersion. Designed for full expression in large rooms (up to 120 m2), the Diva Alta Utopia fills the space, while retaining remarkable precision and finesse. TECHNOLOGIES W membrane Perfectly defined mids and bass By developing and manufacturing its cones, Focal pushes the boundaries of acoustic innovation. The "W" cone, known as the "sandwich" cone of the speakers, plays a key role in sound reproduction. It consists of two sheets of glass placed on either side of a central foam body; a sandwich construction that allows for great control of the three key parameters for a good speaker: lightness, rigidity and damping. This cone, the flagship of Focal's expertise, perfectly optimizes the frequency response curve, provides low distortion and total listening transparency. The sound is of ultimate precision. Infinite Acoustic Loading Pure, distortion-free highs This technology optimizes tweeter performance by precisely controlling the sound pressure behind the dome and reducing internal resonances through infinite acoustic loading, ensuring pure, distortion-free sound reproduction. TMD suspension Stabilized suspension, eliminated vibrations While our engineers are experts in developing exclusive cones, they also innovate for all the elements that make up the speakers, such as the suspension that connects the cone to the chassis and whose performance is essential to control. Created in 2015, TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology with harmonic damping consists of the addition of finely positioned toroidal weights, allowing the suspension to be stabilized for ever greater sound neutrality. This technology enhances the midrange and the erratic behavior of the suspension between 1kHz and 2KHz. PRISM Mastering high frequencies PRISM technology is a major innovation in the mastery of high frequencies. By combining a multi-material substrate with an advanced micro-structuring process, it makes it possible to harness the full potential of each material and achieve stiffness superior to that of beryllium, while preserving a perfect balance between lightness, damping, and rigidity. The result of several years of research, patented and manufactured in France, PRISM sculpts membranes with unprecedented precision. Focus Time Management A precise and coherent sound image Focus Time Management consists of physically aligning the loudspeakers so that all frequencies reach the listener simultaneously, ensuring a precise and coherent sound image. Diva Alta Utopia goes further by integrating software adjustment via the Focal & Naim app. By taking listening distances into account, the system optimizes the phase alignment of the loudspeakers for perfect synchronization and enhanced sound immersion.
