INSTALLATION Flexible and Secure Mounting Adapter A VESA® 200 × 200 mounting adapter is available as an optional accessory, providing a secure and flexible solution for wall or ceiling installation in both professional and residential environments. It allows users to take full advantage of the integrated loudspeakers of the Focal 1000 Series. TECHNOLOGIES W membrane Perfectly defined mids and bass By developing and manufacturing its cones, Focal pushes the boundaries of acoustic innovation. The "W" cone, known as the "sandwich" cone of the speakers, plays a key role in sound reproduction. It consists of two sheets of glass placed on either side of a central foam body; a sandwich construction that allows for great control of the three key parameters for a good speaker: lightness, rigidity and damping. This cone, the flagship of Focal's expertise, perfectly optimizes the frequency response curve, provides low distortion and total listening transparency. The sound is of ultimate precision. Béryllium Tweeter For exceptional highs The shape and materials of the cones are essential for high-fidelity reproduction. For exceptional highs, our engineers developed the inverted dome tweeter in pure Beryllium. Thanks to its unparalleled rigidity, Beryllium is a material of choice for a high-frequency speaker. Developed and patented by Focal, the inverted dome in pure Beryllium is capable of covering more than five octaves (1,000 - 40,000 Hz) for perfect perception of sound micro-details. Passive radiator For deeper bass A passive radiator enclosure provides the benefits of a bass-reflex enclosure in a very small footprint. It uses a bass driver without a motor (coil and magnet) instead of a vent. This design allows for extended low-frequency response and excellent power handling in a small enclosure volume.
