The FME Sponge features a compressible design, allowing for easy insertion through manhole openings, hatches, or other confined space entry points. The laminated construction utilizes non-abrasive, high-durability materials, providing superior strength and tear resistance. Once inserted, the sponge expands to fill the opening, creating an effective barrier against falling objects. Why Choose the Laminated FME Sponge (9")? Enhanced Safety: The FME Sponge prevents tools, debris, and other objects from falling into confined spaces, protecting workers from potential injuries. This contributes to a safer work environment for confined space operations and any situation where dropped objects pose a hazard. Durable Construction: The laminated design ensures the sponge withstands harsh environments and repeated use, making it a reliable long-term solution. Versatility for Various Openings: The 9-inch diameter is ideal for a wide range of confined space openings and other applications where FME is necessary. Reusable Design: The durable construction allows for multiple uses, maximizing cost-effectiveness compared to disposable alternatives.   Easy Installation and Removal: The compressible design facilitates quick and hassle-free placement and removal of the sponge.   Benefits of Using the Laminated FME Sponge: Reduced Risk of Injuries: By preventing objects from falling, the FME Sponge creates a safer work environment for confined space entries and other situations prone to dropped object hazards. Improved Efficiency: The easy installation/removal and versatile size contribute to streamlined work processes during confined space operations or any drop prevention scenario.   Cost-Effectiveness: The reusable nature of the sponge reduces long-term costs compared to disposable alternatives. Peace of Mind: Knowing your confined space entries or work areas are properly secured provides peace of mind for workers and safety personnel.
