Flymen The Fly Tester

The Flymen Edition Fly Tester is the essential tool for every fly tyer’s table. This complete out of the box fly testing and demonstration solution lets you design better flies and validate performance before you fish. It creates a steady circular water flow with adjustable flow control, allowing you to swim up to 3 flies in two directions at once—from streamer flies to foam flies, to nymphs and emergers. Observe the swimming action immediately after tying to refine patterns and gain confidence in field performance. The system supports shareable video demonstrations for the fly tying community and uses a compact, high quality acrylic test tank with bidirectional flow, a removable streamer testing tube, a tippet guide, and clamps with a wire wand. A powerful water pump with adjustable flow completes the setup. 2020 improvements boost portability and protection with a protective carry case, a smaller footprint, and a removable streamer testing tube for easy cleaning. The Fly Tester is designed for quick setup and maintenance, providing reliable testing in any workspace. Includes operating instructions and a 1 year limited warranty.
