Our Befana mug features an original illustration from our book, The Night of La Befana, an Italian Legend. This book was a special project that my sister, Maria Centofanti Pritchard, and I created together. Maria retold this ancient Italian legend exactly as our Italian grandmother shared it with us. The illustrations, which I, Isabella Centofanti, created, drew inspiration from our father's village in Italy and from our beloved grandmother, who inspired the character of the old woman in the story.
