ABOUT FLY EXTERMINATORS: SCIENTIFIC NAME: Muscidifurax raptorellus, Muscidifurax zaraptor, and Spalangia camerion Protect your pets from fly-borne diseases with our Fly Exterminators. Our Fly Exterminators are a combination of three species of parasitoids that are highly specialized in targeting the pupae of host flies, interrupting development into adult pests. These tiny parasitoids have slender bodies measuring about 1-3mm in length, with brown to black coloration and transparent veined wings. They are nocturnal and go virtually unseen. They do not sting or bite, and are completely harmless to people and animals. Each species has slightly different environmental tolerances, peak activity periods, modes of action, and life-cycles that increase the effectiveness of keeping fly populations under control.   INTRODUCTION SITES: You may see large numbers of flies around your animals, but the fly breeding sites are most likely close to to manure or other moist, rotting organic matter areas.
