Fluorite Mushroom (Small, ~35mm)

Fluorite is a naturally banded mineral traditionally associated with focus, mental clarity, and orderly thinking. This charming little mushroom, about 35mm tall, is hand-carved from genuine fluorite, showing the stone's signature ribbons of green, purple, and clear banding — a small, cheerful piece for a desk, altar, or windowsill. Quick facts Stone Fluorite Composition Calcium fluoride (CaF2) Hardness (Mohs) 4 — a soft stone, handle gently Color Green, purple, and clear banding (natural, varies by piece) Chakra Third eye / crown Traditionally used for Focus, mental clarity, orderly thinking Care / Water-safe Not water-safe for soaking — wipe with a soft, barely damp cloth only Meaning & history Fluorite has earned the nickname "genius stone" in crystal folklore for its association with focus and clear, organized thinking, and is often connected with the third eye and crown chakra. Its natural color banding — layers of green, purple, and clear built up during crystal growth — is thought to symbolize sorting through mental clutter to reach clarity. Carved into a small mushroom, this piece brings that meaning into a playful, low-key form. How to use it Keep this mushroom nearby while studying or working, tuck it into a small collection of stones on a windowsill, or simply pick it up for a quiet moment of focus. Its small size makes it easy to slip into a pocket or pencil case if you like carrying a stone with you through the day. Care & cleansing Fluorite is soft at 4 on the Mohs scale, so small carvings like this one can chip if dropped or knocked against harder objects — handle it gently and store it away from keys or other hard items. If it needs a clean, use minimal water and a soft cloth only, avoiding salt water and long soaks, which can dull the surface. To cleanse it energetically, set it in moonlight, pass it briefly through incense smoke, or use sound instead of water. Frequently asked questions What is this mushroom made of? It's hand-carved from natural fluorite (calcium fluoride). This carving is a decorative/symbolic piece, not a health product or medical device. Is the banding in the fluorite dyed? No. The green, purple, and clear bands form naturally in the mineral — this piece is not dyed or artificially treated. Can I wash my fluorite mushroom? Use minimal water only. A soft, barely damp cloth is fine, but avoid soaking or salt water, since fluorite is soft and can be damaged by prolonged moisture. What chakra is fluorite associated with? It's most often linked to the third eye and crown chakras, connected to focus and clarity in crystal tradition. How do I cleanse this carving? Moonlight, incense smoke, or sound are gentle options. Skip saltwater soaks and long sun exposure, which can fade the color. Will my mushroom look exactly like the photo? No — each mushroom is carved from natural stone, so banding and color vary from piece to piece.
