I'm drawn to pieces that highlight a crystal or crystal cluster. This particular piece features a beautiful cluster of transparent, blue-violet, cubo-octahedral Fluorite crystals perfectly placed on a steel-gray matrix coated with a clear Quartz druzy. The Fluorite crystals are sharp, lustrous and centered (there is a lonely Fluorite crystal off to one side) and even the matrix is quite interesting; displaying various textures and numerous voids all highlighted with a sparkling Quartz druzy. Great contrast, color, symmetry and crystal formation. In excellent condition. Location: Xia Yang Mine, Yongchun Co., Quanzhou, Fujian, China Size: 13 x 11 x 9 cm
