Glucosamine is a GAG (glycosaminoglycan). GAG’s are part of the structure of the matrix of cartilage, and cartilage is the covering of articular bone;which is extremely important for healthy joints. Hyaluronic Acid is an important component of joint synovial fluid, which is the fluid that cushions and lubricates the joint.  Sodium Hyaluronate is the stable and orally absorbable form of hyaluronic acid, of the molecular weight studied most (1 million Daltons). Hyaluronic acid is known to support and lubricate joints, help to maintain structural integrity, and increase joint synovial fluid viscosity. Chondroitin is a naturally occurring compound that is a vital part of cartilage tissue. Chondroitin has been found to prevent the breakdown of cartilage and stimulate repair mechanisms. MSM is a source of highly bioavailable sulfur. Several molecules needed by joints contain sulfur bonded to the molecule, so an adequate supply supports healthy joint tissue.
