The system integrates a Power Chamber® housing a wireless-controlled valve actuator, which redirects exhaust gases through a turndown tailpipe when opened. This design not only optimizes exhaust flow but also delivers a distinctive, aggressive exhaust note on demand. Its direct-fit design ensures a seamless connection to the factory exhaust system, maintaining proper alignment and clearance without the need for cutting or welding. The high-quality wireless actuator and control unit are engineered for reliable operation and easy integration with your Ram 1500’s existing exhaust layout. Performance & Sound The Flowmaster Flow FX muffler enhances your Ram 1500’s exhaust sound profile by offering two distinct modes. In the default closed valve position, the muffler produces a moderate, performance-oriented tone that is more aggressive than stock but suitable for daily driving. When the wireless valve is activated, exhaust gases are routed through the turndown tailpipe, creating a deep, open, and commanding exhaust note that announces your presence on the road. This dual-mode capability allows drivers to tailor their vehicle’s sound to the driving environment, whether seeking a subtle growl or a bold, aggressive roar.
