Flower Carpet Red Rose

Flower Carpet Red Rose (Rosa x 'Noare')Flower Carpet Red Rose is a low, spreading landscape rose that quickly fills space with months of steady color and a clean, finished look. Bright, true red flowers appear in abundant clusters, giving you bold impact along borders, slopes, and wide beds without tall growth. It blooms repeatedly from spring through fall, so the planting stays active well beyond the first flush. If you want a tough groundcover rose that looks polished in real-world conditions, this is a strong choice. Distinctive FeaturesThis groundcover-style rose forms a dense, low mound with a broad spread, creating a carpet effect that covers soil and softens edges. Blooms appear continuously in clusters in a vivid red tone, keeping the plant lively through the growing season. Foliage is glossy green and the plant is valued for strong landscape performance and cleaner growth when planted in sun with reasonable airflow. Mature size is typically about 2 to 3 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. Growing Conditions Sun: Full sun is best for heavy flowering, with 6 or more hours of direct light each day. Soil: Plant in fertile, well-drained soil amended with organic matter for best results. Water: Water deeply during establishment, then water when the top few inches of soil are dry while avoiding waterlogged conditions. USDA Zones: Zones 4 to 10. Spacing: Space plants to allow airflow and let the spreading habit knit together into broad coverage. Ideal Uses Focal Point: Use as a focal point in a low, sunny bed where a wide ribbon of red bloom can define the edge of the space. Groundcover Masses: Plant in groups to create a continuous carpet of color that reads well from a distance. Slopes and Banks: Spreading growth helps cover ground on hillsides while providing long-season color. Front Borders: Keeps the front edge of beds neat with a low profile that does not block other plantings. Foundation Beds: Adds repeat bloom and a tidy, low form along homes and walkways. Low Maintenance Care Pruning: Cut back in late winter to early spring to refresh growth and maintain a dense, uniform mound. Deadheading: Deadheading is optional, but light cleanup can improve tidiness and keep bloom cycles moving. Watering: Water at the base to keep foliage drier and support healthier growth through humid weather. Feeding: Fertilize in spring and again after the first bloom flush to support continuous flowering. Mulching: Mulch to conserve moisture, moderate soil temperature, and reduce weeds around the root zone. Why Choose Flower Carpet Red Rose? True Red Color: Vivid blooms deliver bold, high-visibility color across the entire plant. Season-Long Bloom: Repeats from spring through fall for dependable color over a long window. Groundcover Habit: Low, spreading growth fills space quickly for a finished, landscaped look. Heat and Humidity Performance: Strong garden performance helps it stay attractive through tough summer weather. Cleaner Growth: Glossy foliage and strong vigor support a more polished look with straightforward care.
