Organic Evening Primrose Oil Cortisol: Evening primrose oil contains Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), which has anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce stress-induced inflammation, potentially modulating cortisol levels. Chronic stress elevates cortisol, contributing to weight gain and hormonal imbalance. Estrogen: GLA helps balance hormones by supporting estrogen metabolism, which can be beneficial during PMS, perimenopause, and menopause when estrogen levels fluctuate. Leptin: While not directly related to leptin, the oil's anti-inflammatory effects may improve leptin sensitivity, helping the body respond better to hunger signals and control appetite. Progesterone: Evening primrose oil may help balance estrogen and progesterone, supporting hormone levels and relieving PMS symptoms by promoting healthy hormone synthesis. Thyroid: The GLA in evening primrose oil may support overall hormone health, indirectly aiding thyroid function by reducing inflammation that could interfere with thyroid hormone production. 2. Organic Black Cumin Seed Oil Cortisol: Black cumin seed oil has adaptogenic properties, meaning it helps the body adapt to stress and may support adrenal function to balance cortisol production. Estrogen: Thymoquinone, the active compound in black cumin seed oil, has been shown to have mild estrogen-regulating properties. It can help reduce symptoms of estrogen dominance, such as fatigue, mood swings, and weight gain. Leptin: Black cumin seed oil may improve leptin sensitivity by reducing inflammation and supporting healthy weight management. It can help regulate appetite and fat storage. Insulin: Research shows black cumin seed oil can improve insulin sensitivity and help regulate blood sugar levels, reducing insulin resistance—a common issue in women with hormone imbalances. Testosterone: This oil may support the balance between estrogen and testosterone, which is essential for preventing testosterone deficiencies or excesses, particularly in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Thyroid: Thymoquinone has shown promise in supporting thyroid function by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, which can improve thyroid hormone balance. 3. Organic Dried Marigold Blossom (Calendula) Cortisol: Calendula’s anti-inflammatory properties may help reduce the systemic inflammation caused by elevated cortisol, supporting the body’s response to stress. Estrogen: Calendula supports liver health, which is crucial for detoxifying excess estrogen. By improving liver function, it may help balance estrogen levels and alleviate estrogen dominance. Leptin: Calendula may indirectly support leptin balance by promoting liver detoxification and reducing inflammation, which could improve leptin sensitivity. Thyroid: A healthy liver is essential for converting thyroid hormones (T4 to the active T3), and calendula’s liver-supporting properties may enhance this process. 4. Organic Red Clover Blossom Estrogen: Red clover is a rich source of phytoestrogens (isoflavones), which mimic estrogen in the body. This can help balance estrogen levels, especially during menopause, by either compensating for low estrogen or reducing symptoms of estrogen dominance. Progesterone: By helping to balance estrogen, red clover may indirectly support progesterone levels, helping to maintain the necessary balance between these two hormones, which is critical for regular menstrual cycles and alleviating PMS symptoms. Thyroid: Phytoestrogens in red clover may help with thyroid hormone balance, particularly if low estrogen is affecting thyroid function. 5. Organic Black Cohosh Root Cortisol: Black cohosh may help alleviate stress-related symptoms, such as anxiety and insomnia, which are often tied to elevated cortisol. It supports the body’s natural stress response, helping reduce the impact of cortisol on the body. Estrogen: Black cohosh is commonly used to balance estrogen levels during menopause by mimicking estrogen’s effects in the body. This helps reduce symptoms of low estrogen, such as hot flashes and mood swings. Leptin: By balancing estrogen, black cohosh may improve leptin sensitivity, helping with appetite regulation and reducing cravings. Progesterone: Black cohosh is known to support the balance between estrogen and progesterone by modulating estrogenic activity, particularly during perimenopause and menopause. Thyroid: Black cohosh may indirectly support thyroid function by reducing symptoms of menopause that often coincide with thyroid imbalances. Summary of Benefits for Each Hormone Cortisol: Evening primrose oil, black cumin seed oil, and black cohosh help reduce stress and inflammation, supporting healthy cortisol levels. Estrogen: Red clover, black cohosh, and evening primrose oil are especially effective in regulating estrogen, helping alleviate symptoms of estrogen dominance or deficiency. Leptin: Black cumin seed oil and evening primrose oil may improve leptin sensitivity by reducing inflammation and supporting metabolism. Insulin: Black cumin seed oil is particularly beneficial for improving insulin sensitivity and balancing blood sugar levels. Testosterone: Black cumin seed oil supports testosterone regulation, especially for women with hormonal imbalances like PCOS. Progesterone: Vitex-like effects from evening primrose oil and black cohosh help balance progesterone and alleviate PMS and menopausal symptoms. Thyroid: All ingredients indirectly support thyroid health by reducing inflammation, supporting hormone balance, and improving liver detoxification for better thyroid hormone conversion.   Black Cohosh Root Black cohosh root is most commonly used to treat hot flashes and hormonal fluctuations throughout menopause.  Early German studies found black cohosh improved physical and psychological menopausal symptoms, including anxiety, hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. It has been also used to treat arthritic pain and help to lower blood pressure.
