Floss + Glass Case

Our 100% compostable bamboo floss is a HUGE breakthrough in the zero waste dental hygiene world! Did you know traditional wax coated floss is bad for the environment & equally just as bad for you? Yup… You read that right! Traditional floss is full of toxic chemicals, one of the main chemicals being PFASs A.K.A., Teflon. Teflon is that crazy chemical everyone has been telling you to beware of. Teflon pans are the most common thread of concern. According to the US Centers for Disease Control (USCDC) Teflon exposure in humans can cause liver damage, thyroid disease, decreased fertility, high cholesterol, obesity, hormone suppression & cancer. So definitely something to lookout for. Traditional floss is just as destructive for our environment as it is to us. Because it is primarily made from petroleum gases, dental floss has a HUGE eco-footprint! Dental floss is up there in contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. An easy swap away from Teflon & excess greenhouse gas emissions is a smooth transition from plastic, to plastic free with our Compostable Dental Floss stored in a lovely glass, reusable container! Doesn't get much easier! Refills available materials used: glass, bamboo, steel, NON GMO corn starch
