This is Florèz's more affordable or accessible bottling of Pinot, drawn from two mountaintop vineyard sites in the Santa Cruz mountains: Hunter Hill, a coastal site on weathered sandstone tucked into the redwoods, and Kadlecek Vineyard, just minutes away from the Florèz winery on a steep southern exposure. 50% whole-cluster, 50% destemmed, rested in neutral French barrels for about ten months on lees.
