This rare natural wax retains the floral complexity, sensual depth, and soothing skin benefits of the Damask rose—renowned as the “Queen of Flowers.” Unlike conventional solvent-extracted floral waxes, the CO₂ method preserves a broader spectrum of volatile compounds and natural lipids, offering an aroma and texture that are unmatched in purity and performance. The CO₂ extraction process is environmentally conscious, utilizing minimal energy and no petrochemical solvents. Each batch is traceable to organic rose farms where petals are hand-harvested during peak bloom. This gentle, low-temperature extraction guarantees a solvent-free, high-purity wax that meets both cosmetic and perfumery standards (IFRA compliant when used within category limits). Origin and Extraction Harvested in the early dawn hours, the delicate petals of Rosa damascena are carefully hand-picked in the Bulgarian and Turkish highlands, regions famed for their unique terroir that produces roses with the highest concentration of aromatic molecules. Through supercritical CO₂ extraction, the petals yield a soft, buttery wax enriched with both aromatic and bioactive constituents. This eco-friendly method uses pressurized carbon dioxide as the solvent, ensuring no harmful residues remain and preserving the rose’s complete olfactory and biochemical profile. Aromatic Profile Rose Damascena CO₂ wax carries a deep, authentic, and full-bodied floral aroma, with lush notes of fresh rose petals, soft honey, green foliage, and subtle spice. It is both grounding and ethereal—less sharp than rose absolute and warmer than rose essential oil. The scent is long-lasting and blends beautifully with sandalwood, vetiver, frankincense, orris butter, vanilla, jasmine, and amber accords. In perfumery, it serves as a natural fixative and middle-to-base floral note that adds elegance, sensuality, and timeless grace to blends. Common applications include: -Whipped body butters and balms for deep hydration -Solid perfumes and aromatic candles for natural fragrance -Lip balms and facial creams where it adds structure, smoothness, and scent -Massage bars combining the warmth of body temperature with the aroma of roses Because the wax retains a fraction of essential oil components, it enhances both the sensory and therapeutic properties of products. The gentle rose aroma also supports emotional well-being—known in aromatherapy to ease anxiety, uplift the spirit, and evoke a sense of self-love and calm. Perfumery and Aromatherapy Uses In natural perfumery, Rose Damascena CO₂ wax is a coveted ingredient used to craft floral solids, luxurious balms, and all-natural perfumes. It works as a fixative, extending the longevity of volatile notes while contributing a warm floral heart. When melted and blended with jojoba, coconut, or sweet almond oil, it creates an exquisite base for rose-inspired perfumes and therapeutic roll-ons. In aromatherapy, this wax serves as a mood-enhancing material. Its soft, embracing aroma is associated with comfort, emotional healing, and heart chakra balance. It can be gently warmed to release fragrance in meditation rooms or added to skin-contact blends that combine beauty with emotional grounding. Emotional and Energetic Benefits The energy of the Damask rose is long associated with love, compassion, and emotional rejuvenation. Using rose wax in daily rituals—whether as a skincare treatment, a perfume base, or an aromatherapy balm—helps create a sense of peace and inner harmony. The scent has been revered for centuries in sacred ceremonies, symbolizing beauty, devotion, and the divine feminine.
