Flora Middle Module

The Woud Flora middle module takes the concept of modular seating and makes it actually work for how people live and entertain - you can use it on its own as a comfy chair or connect it with other Flora pieces to build exactly the sofa configuration your space needs. Spanish design studio YONOH drew inspiration from flower petals and how they grow organically, which explains the soft, curved shapes and that distinctive black piping that traces the contours like veins in a leaf. The 90cm square proportions create this generous seating area that encourages proper lounging - deep enough to curl up but not so oversized that it swallows smaller spaces. What's particularly smart about the low backrest is how it keeps sight lines open while still providing support, making rooms feel more spacious even when you've got multiple modules arranged together. The construction shows that attention to detail you expect from quality Scandinavian furniture - FSC-certified plywood frame, high-density foam cushioning, and black painted wood legs that disappear visually but provide solid support. The metal sectional snaps make connecting modules genuinely easy rather than requiring tools or complicated hardware, and the webbing support system ensures the seating maintains its shape over time. Available in an extensive range of Kvadrat fabrics, you can dial in exactly the texture and color that works with your existing decor. The black piping isn't just decorative - it reinforces the seams and creates visual definition that prevents the soft curves from looking sloppy or undefined. Woud continues pushing this approach where modular furniture actually adapts to changing needs rather than just offering basic configurations. Their collaboration with YONOH reflects this commitment to creating pieces that grow with people's lives - whether you start with one module and add more later, or rearrange seasonally for different entertaining needs. The brand focuses on honest construction and thoughtful design that enhances daily life through flexibility and quality rather than just following trends or offering the cheapest possible solutions that look good in showrooms but don't hold up to real use.   Details Design Country: Denmark Materials: Plywood, Foam, Webbing Connector: Metal Sectional Snaps Detail: Step Melange Fabric Legs: Black Painted Wood Fabric: Gabriel Step Melange: 100% Trevira CS Kvadrat Remix 3: 90% New Wool (worsted) 10% Nylon Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3: 90% New Wool (worsted), 10% Nylon Kvadrat Harald 3: 100% Cotton Dimensions: 66cm: 25.9"L x 35.4"D x 27.5"H 90cm: 35.4"L x 35.4"D x 27.5"H Seat Height: 16.9"
