This the the floor base only, to add your rug Hooking Frame Head to. It measures 30.5 inches high at the top of the ball. We have changed to a steel rod with hard rubber ball to prevent cracking of the old style wooden ball heads. They are not as pretty but they HOLD and do not move. Or squeak! Once you attach your head to the base, by simply loosing the tension a little and it will swivel and rotate 360degrees for the full use of your frame for working. if you have one of our frame heads already, with the ball and yoke, you only need our base.
