Anabit's Flex Dual Channel ADC is an open-source reference design that delivers a high-speed, 14-bit precision unipolar dual channel ADC with three different precision voltage reference options: 2.5V, 3.3V, and 4.096V. The Flex design uses a Successive-Approximation Register (SAR) ADC architecture. The ADC is preceded by a 2 channel MUX that is easily controlled by a digital logic pin and allows you to control what channel the ADC is sampling from. The Flex Dual Channel ADC features a front end design that contains anti-aliasing filters and high speed op amps that drive the ADC input to support the maximum sampling rate of 2MSPS. The Flex employs a negative bias voltage generator to ensure the input op amps do not saturate at input analog signals close to or at ground potential (0V). Example Use Cases for the Flex Dual Channel ADC Monitor dynamic sensors like vibration industrial condition monitor and predictive maintenance applications Monitoring dynamic process variables like flow, pressure, or light levels Measure dynamic current signals using precision shunts for power optimization designs Instrumentation and data acquisition applications Educational labs – an open-source platform for exploring ADC and op amp circuit design principals
