Flavio Poli Bullicante Vase with Applied Handles Seguso Vetri d'Arte Italy, ca. 1940 Clear glass with controlled bubbles and applied pear-shaped handles 12 1/8" h, 8 1/4" d (31, 21cm) Seguso Vetri d'Arte was known for their supremely high-quality production with varying decor types and interesting forms. This beautiful vase is no exception. It features a moderately thick clear glass body with large-scale bullicante (controlled bubbles) throughout the entire piece. Near the top, there are two applied pear-shaped handles. Each of the pears is colored green, features bullicante, and also has an applied leaf and stem possessing gold foil. It's a knockout piece that is in a very usable size to boot.  Excellent condition. Very minor traces of minerals at the very bottom edge, as well as a few small rust spots.  Shipping is free within the United States.
