Flatty Silver Glow Slow Pitch Jig

Johnny Jigs® Flatty Slow Pitch Jig – Extreme Flutter Action for Slow Pitch Jigging The Johnny Jigs® Flatty Slow Pitch Jig has earned a reputation as one of the most effective high-flutter slow pitch jigs available. Designed with an ultra-flat body profile, the Flatty produces an intense flutter with extended hang time that closely imitates a wounded baitfish struggling to regain balance. This jig is engineered for anglers who want maximum action near the strike zone. The Flatty is a very high flutter jig with a slower natural drop speed, making it ideal for targeting bottom species in low current and controlled drift conditions. Because of its high flutter nature, the jig naturally falls slower, allowing it to remain in the strike zone longer. However, anglers can increase the drop speed by maintaining tension on the line, giving the jig versatility depending on fishing depth and conditions. When pitched properly, the Flatty creates a dramatic fluttering descent that has proven irresistible to trophy grouper, snapper, and other reef predators. At the same time, its exaggerated flutter has racked up impressive catches on pelagic species including mahi, sailfish, tuna, kingfish, and wahoo when worked higher in the water column. Whether you are slow pitch jigging structure near the bottom or working the jig upward through the column, the Flatty’s exaggerated flutter and hang time make it a must-have jig in any serious angler’s tackle bag.
