FKM 75 - O-Ring 5mm CS x 67mm ID

Overview: The FKM 75 O-Ring (5mm cross-section, 72mm internal diameter) is a high-performance sealing component designed for the piston assembly of the Technopack E-FP-1000-DX high viscosity filler. Engineered to provide a robust, leak-free seal during the critical suction and dispensing strokes, this O-ring is essential for maintaining precise volume control, reducing product loss, and ensuring consistent machine performance under high-viscosity conditions. Key Features: Premium FKM (Fluorocarbon) Elastomer: Constructed from high-grade FKM rubber with a hardness of 75 Shore A, this O-ring is ideal for aggressive processing environments. It offers excellent resistance to chemical attack, high temperatures, and repeated mechanical stress. Large Cross-Section for Dynamic Sealing: The 5mm CS provides enhanced sealing surface contact within the piston chamber, ideal for managing the high pressures generated by thick, paste-like materials during the fill cycle. Wide Chemical Compatibility: Performs reliably across a broad range of product types, including food-grade formulations, industrial greases, cosmetic creams, and reactive chemicals. Withstands oils, fuels, solvents, and acids commonly found in complex formulations. Temperature & Pressure Resilience: Capable of withstanding elevated operating temperatures up to +200°C and pressures typical of piston-driven fill systems without degradation or loss of elasticity. Designed for Long-Term Operation: Resists compression set and wear under continuous cycling. This results in fewer maintenance intervals and a longer service life in high-throughput production settings. Applications: Machine Compatibility: Specifically designed for the piston head seal in the E-FP-1000-DX High Viscosity Piston Filler. Functional Role: Forms a tight dynamic seal between the piston and the inner wall of the fill cylinder, enabling accurate suction of viscous materials and complete product discharge during each fill cycle. Prevents product backflow and leakage, ensuring volumetric consistency and operational efficiency. Target Product Types: High-viscosity food products (e.g., peanut butter, frosting, syrup) Personal care items (e.g., body butters, balms) Industrial applications (e.g., lubricants, silicone pastes, adhesives)
