Installing Your Fixed Trim Slim/Narrow Mount Identify your mount & hardware. If you ordered custom hole spacing, the base holes are pre-set to your spacing. Verify the doorbell back-mount holes line up with the bracket pocket before installing. Turn OFF power at the breaker. Remove your existing Ring Wired Plus (Pro) and disconnect the existing 16-24V doorbell wires. Route the wires through the center opening of the base. Mount the base to the wall: Position over the trim and anchor with the provided #6 wall screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver (drill optional pilot holes in hard trim). Attach the doorbell adapter bracket: Fasten the adapter plate to the mount face with the small center screws (provided preinstalled in most cases). Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver. Mount the doorbell: Secure the body to the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (NOT the original screws). Reconnect the wires to the doorbell terminals (polarity does not matter for AC), restore power, and confirm the field of view in the app. Caulk the top/side perimeter if exposed to driving rain; leave the bottom edge open for drainage. Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level, multimeter (wired installs only). FAQ — Fixed Trim Slim/Narrow Mount for the Ring Wired Plus (Pro) Will this fit the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus?Yes. Can I angle the doorbell or push it farther off the wall?Yes. Add the fixed-mount Horizontal Angle Adapter (0-90 degrees) to aim it, and/or the Extension add-on (1/2 inch up to 7 inches) to clear trim or storm doors. Why a fixed trim mount instead of a swivel? It is slim and flat with a narrow 3/4 inch base, so it fits tight and uneven trim where a bulkier swivel will not sit flush.
