'Five' Negroni

Forthave's FIVE is the fifth release in their Single Batch line of botanical spirits — a bottled Negroni rooted in the legendary 1919 Florence original, reimagined through the distillery's signature craft. Built on their Red Aperitivo (a blend of over 13 botanicals including Seville orange peel, gentian root, and rhubarb), fortified with their botanical-forward Blue Gin (distilled with over 18 organic plants), and rounded out with a house-blended vermouth made from Finger Lakes wine aromatized with hyssop, orris root, mace, and fresh citrus, FIVE is a layered and considered take on a classic. A portion of the blend was aged in oak barrels for warmth and spice, another in stainless steel to preserve brightness and structure, and a fresh component added just before bottling. The result opens with vivid citrus aromatics and floral botanicals, finishing with subtle depth and texture — best served chilled over ice with an orange twist. As with every Single Batch release, FIVE is a one-time creation; only 12 bottles are available.
