Fisher Original Astronaut Space Force

The US Space Force is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips U.S. service members for the protection of American and allied interests in space, and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities include developing military space professionals, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands. This Chrome Plated AG7, donning the United States Space Force insignia, is the first and only Astronaut Space Pen to be imprinted for any branch of the United States military. The AG7 is the original Fisher Space Pen that was used on the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968 after 2 years of rigorous testing by NASA, and it has been used on all manned space flights since then. The overall design and construction of this pen has not changed in over 50 years, and the pen you buy today will be the same as the one taken to the moon back in 1969. The AG7 is made from solid brass with an extremely hard chrome plating; it is a heavy pen, with the weight resting reassuringly in your hand as you write. It has a very positive and substantial feeling click mechanism, with a plunger on the top for extending the refill, as well as a unique side release button to retract it. Its special design helps to ensure that you will always remember to retract the point before you slide it back into your pocket. Our Astronaut Pens are attractively packaged in heavy duty gift boxes with flock lining and each comes with a pamphlet describing the history of the Fisher Space Pen. All AG7’s are constructed with brass and steel components of the highest quality, and all are proudly made in the USA!
