Fisher Gold Bug Metal Detector

The Fisher Goldbug is a highly advanced metal detector, engineered specifically for gold prospecting. This innovative device boasts a combination of high sensitivity to small gold nuggets and versatile functionality for all-purpose treasure detection. Central to its design is the advanced ground balancing system, which effectively cancels out the mineral signals from the soil, ensuring that only the signals from metal objects are detected. This feature is particularly advantageous in highly mineralized soils where gold is commonly found. Additionally, the Goldbug offers separate controls for signal gain and threshold, as well as a unique discrimination control system, enabling users to ignore unwanted metals and focus on their target finds.  Ergonomically designed for user comfort and ease of use, the Fisher Goldbug comes equipped with a standard 5-inch searchcoil. This smaller coil size is optimized for finding small gold nuggets in tight spaces and highly mineralized soils, making pinpointing targets easier and allowing access to areas where larger coils might not fit. For users seeking greater ground coverage and deeper detection, an optional 11-inch DD searchcoil is available, enhancing the detector's capabilities for relic hunting and coin shooting. The lightweight design, coupled with an adjustable armrest and optional armrest strap, ensures comfort and stability during extended use, making it an ideal choice for serious treasure hunters.  The Fisher Goldbug also features various audio and visual feedback systems to assist in target identification and depth estimation. The 2-digit target indicator provides specific target values to help users accurately identify buried objects, while the V.C.O. (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) audio method offers variable pitch and volume feedback based on signal strength. This combination of features allows users to distinguish between different types of metals and estimate the size and depth of targets. With its robust construction and advanced technology, the Fisher Goldbug promises reliable performance and exciting discoveries across a wide range of environments.
