Fisher Gold Bug 2 Metal Detector with 10" Coil

Product Description The Fisher Gold Bug 2 is engineered specifically for serious gold hunters who demand extreme sensitivity in mineral-rich environments. Designed for prospectors, this detector operates at an ultra-high frequency of 71 kHz, allowing it to locate even the tiniest gold nuggets in highly mineralized soils—making it a top choice for professionals and dedicated hobbyists. With its 71 kHz operating frequency, the Gold Bug 2 excels at finding small, deep targets where other detectors struggle. It features three versatile search modes: Normal, Audio Boost, and Iron Discrimination, giving users the ability to adapt to varying terrain and target conditions. Manual ground balance with a dual-knob precision control allows for fine-tuning, while the elliptical 10" waterproof searchcoil offers excellent sensitivity and maneuverability. Audio Boost enhances faint signals without amplifying surface targets, and the IRON DISC mode effectively filters out unwanted ferrous trash. Weighing only 2.9 lbs and featuring a padded armrest, foam grip, and adjustable stem, the Gold Bug 2 is designed for all-day comfort and balanced handling. The control housing is moisture and dust resistant and can be hip-mounted to reduce fatigue. With up to 35 hours of runtime on dual 9V batteries, it’s a reliable tool for extended hunts in rugged conditions.
