Fish Mexican Talavera Tile Collection

Fish Mexican Talavera Tile Collection The Fish Mexican Talavera Tile Collection is one square foot (nine 4"x4" tiles) featuring brightly colored and whimsical  Talavera fish designs. Each tile is hand-painted by an artist in Mexico. Traditional Talavera tile is made with two kinds of reddish clay, rolled and cut by hand like dough, then fired in a mesquite kiln. This process gives each tile the slight irregularities that impart a unique antique, folk-art look. It has a special beauty that is perfect for many projects including indoor and outdoor kitchens, barbecues, bathroom, patios, stairs and more. Each tile is really an individual work of art that will add lasting beauty and warmth to your home.  These are rustic, colonial-style tiles-- each a little different from the others which adds to the timeless Old-World charm of these tiles.   Each of the tiles in this collection are also offered individually in our Traditional tile line.  Remember you may also want TRIM TILE to finish the edges of your tile project!   part # 14012
