Fischer S Bound 98 Alpine Touring Ski

This ski is built for the adventurous soul who wants to leave the tracked skin path behind and explore deep into the backcountry. The S-Bound 98 is a featherweight explorer designed to maximize efficiency on the ascent while maintaining the capability to handle turns on the descent. The lighter Paulownia wood core significantly improves efficiency for long-distance touring, ensuring you save energy for the fun part. The deep sidecut and Nordic Rockered tip profile make turning easier and more intuitive, which is crucial when navigating challenging terrain. The innovative Offtrack Crown pattern on the base provides reliable grip for climbing and is now paired with Dual Skin compatibility. This means you can quickly supplement the base's natural grip with either a mid-base Easy Skin 65 for general touring or a full-length Super Skin for tackling the steepest climbs with ease. This dual system offers unparalleled versatility, allowing you to quickly adapt your setup for any snow condition or terrain, truly making this the ultimate ski for limitless backcountry adventures.
