Fischer S-Bound 112

The Fischer S Bound 112 Crown / Dual Skin Xtralite is a backcountry nordic ski that marries flotation, control, and uphill efficiency. With an expansive 112‑78‑95 mm sidecut, Nordic Rocker Camber profile, and full-length steel edges, it excels in variable snow and delivers smooth turn initiation and directional precision. Lightweight Air Channel wood-core construction cuts weight while maintaining durable flex and responsiveness.  Ascending is effortless thanks to Fischer’s Offtrack Crown waxless grip pattern, which ensures reliable traction across diverse terrain, and Dual Skin compatibility—allowing quick attachment of Easy Skin (short) or Super Skin (full-length) when ascent conditions demand it. These flexible options give you energy-saving grip tailored to the steepness or snow condition of the climb. Off the ascent, performance remains sharp: Speed Grinding 2.0 provides a universally gliding sintered base, while tail protectors bolster durability in rugged usage. At roughly 2.4 kg per pair (179 cm), this ski strikes an excellent balance between weight and durability—making it a favorite for adventurers prioritizing enjoyable descents as much as uphill travel.
