First Light — Ivory + Neon Yellow Butterfly Keepsake Box

By David Stesner · Limited Edition There is a particular quality to the first light of a morning — soft, still, and charged with the sense that something extraordinary is about to happen. First Light captures that suspended moment. An ivory acrylic ground, edged in neon yellow that glows at the periphery, holds a single blue morpho butterfly at its center: wings open, luminous, slightly otherworldly. Four smaller species orbit at the edges, as if drawn toward the light of the central wing. The composition is quiet. Deliberate. The kind of beautiful that takes a moment to arrive — and then doesn't leave. This is not a storage box with a pretty lid. This is a collector's work of art by David Stesner — one that opens. Of all the boxes in the Butterfly Series, First Light is the one people are still thinking about on the way home. It gifts as a statement — for someone who appreciates the extraordinary in the understated.
